The commonly used social force model can well describe some typical phenomena in crowd simulation, but it is a kind of virtual force rather than the real one, so it cannot describe the behaviors of crowd when a collision occurs in scene of high density crowd. In this paper, a crowd extrusion model is proposed based on the momentum theorem and motion mechanics of human body. In each step of simulation, the minimum avoidance distance is calculated. The collision between those whose current distance is less than the minimum avoidance distance is possibly unavoidable, and then the actual force that the pedestrians experienced is calculated. On the other hand, the movement of other pedestrians still follows the social force. The simulation results show that this improved model is more close to the actual scenarios of high density crowd.
