Operator Panel Design for Dynamic Positioning Simulator

In order to meet the requirement of the global maritime engineering development, and to train the ship dynamic positioning operator quickly, the ship dynamic positioning simulation system has been arose several years ago. With the emergence of dynamic positioning simulation system, as a bridge of communication between operator and simulation system, the simulation operator panel plays a key role in process of training operators. Simulation operator panel device is very important as a result of vessel dynamic positioning simulation system could only accept instructions from operator through it, and the simulation operator panel was designed of the chip MCSS1 as CPU and asynchronous serial communication as communication mode. It is shown that the simulation operator panel can operate vessel effectively in the dynamic positioning simulation system.
