GIS Implementation for Small Hydraulic Power Plants Placement

摘要

The paper describes one single use of GIS software to ease the engineers' life. It shows how to find a suitable location for small hydraulic power plants next to un(der)electrified production sites and settlement. The search is made cameral, so it saves a lot of budget and allows to choose only the best locations for further field approval. The paper elaborates the matter on Khakassia rivers.
