摘要

This article presents the development results of laboratory installation of the induction melting in cold crucible with a bottom conical shape to solve the problem of accumulation of noble metals during the vitrification of high-level waste. The installation can be considered innovative because, in open sources, information about these developments was not found. As a theoretical justification of the applicability of this installation, 2D electrohydrodynamic and 3D electromagnetic mathematical models were used. The article also presents the results of experimental studies on the developed installation.
