摘要

This paper presents methodology of calculation of the optimal cross section form of the conductor to minimize losses and to keep the specified area and smooth shape of the conductor's boundary. The optimization procedure is performed using Genetic algorithm for the Eddy Currents Finite Elements problems. The Finite Elements Analysis (FEA) is performed in the ELCUT software package.
