A compact modified N-way Wilkinson power divider with complex isolation units is presented in this paper, where the complex isolation units are bridged between output ports. Through analyzing the equivalent circuit, the design equations of the proposed N-way power divider are summarized in detail. Several design examples are also given and compared. Finally, a three-way power divider ($N=31$) is fabricated for proving the proposed theory, and the measured results meet the simulation results very well.
