A Logic Based Context Modeling and Context-aware Services Adaptation for Mobile Phones

Nowadays, mobile phones are gaining popularity all around the world. They become the most ubiquitous communication device. In order to improve the usability and interaction with users, mobile phones should provide their services according to the current context in an unobtrusive manner with a minimum explicit intervention from users. Context-awareness is a key feature for mobile phones. In this paper, we propose an approach for context modeling using logic predicates and a mobile phone services adaptation using rule-based system. Our context model is based on five logic predicates, which cover almost all context aspects for a mobile phone, which considerably improve the expressiveness of the model.
