Visual Analytics of Fukushima Nuclear Disaster Retweet Network Evolution

Fukushima Nuclear Disaster Retweet Network, which represents Twitter users' retweet relation, is a critical clue toreveal people's interests in Fukushima Nuclear Disaster. However, analysis of such network remains challenging dueto a substantial number of relevant tweets and long-time span. To assist with this process, we developed a browserbasedanalysis system for exploring and comparing Fukushima Nuclear Disaster Retweet Network. We analyzed thepast 7 years data, from 2011 to 2017, sampled by the keyword about 'Fukushima Nuclear Disaster' to explore thetweet content and retweet structure of Twitter dataset. In our system, the front-end interactive visualizations andanalytical graph views enable users to discover insights in both text content and retweet behavior of data.
