摘要

Fluid travelling around circular cylinders with non-uniform profiles cangive rise to complex three-dimensional vortex shedding in the wake,even at low Reynolds number. In the present paper, dual stepped cylinderwith two diameter ratios (D/d) are studied numerically under theReynolds number of 150 (Reynolds number is calculated based on thediameter of the large cylinder). The present paper mainly investigatescombined fluid evolution of the axial current component and thetransverse current component, in which further insight of threedimensionalvortex shedding development in the wake would berevealed.
