摘要

The subsea structure layed on the seabed has effect on the current flowin the ocean engineering. The complex current flow disturbs sedimentaround the subsea structure and scour the structure foundation. If thedepth of scour hole is too deep and makes the foundation have unevensettlement, it will affect the structure in regular service even safety anda series of production and environmental problems. The article focus onthe scour around the foundation of the subsea production system inSouth China sea, by using numerical simulation of the sedimenttransport and deposition using the CFD software and model test. It willprovide theoretical basis, model test conclusion and reasonablesuggestion for the installation and operation safety in this area.
