摘要

It is of prime importance to keep system frequency within allowable range in power systems with a large amount of renewableenergy sources such as photovoltaics or wind power plants. The frequency issues can be classified into two categories. First,proper frequency regulation in normal condition is needed to compensate the uncertain output fluctuation of renewable energysources. Second, the fast frequency response to avoid significant frequency drop after the fault is essential to keep stable powersupply, in particular, in the case the system inertia is largely decreased by the integration of the renewables. In this paper,frequency analysis based on above two perspectives are shown supposing an extraordinarily large amount of renewables areintroduced to the system.
