A New Strip-Theory Method Including Effects of Longitudinal Direction Component of Normal Vector on Body Surface

In this study, a new strip theory explicitly including thenx-related terms ignored in conventional strip theories has beenproposed, and four different methods were proposed dependingon the treatment for the scattering problem. The validationon the proposed methods was made through comparison withexperimental results and numerical results by the conventionalSTFM and EUT. The results of the proposed methods showedbetter agreement to existing experimental results as comparedto the results by STFM, comparatively of the “Nx-MWMx”.
