In this study, the dynamics response of two-phase flow through horizontal piping structure with flow restricting orifice is investigated. Experiments for slug flow pattern with water and air superficial velocities ranges from 0.46 to 1.28m/s and from 0.31 to 0.51m/s are performed. The vibration response of the structure was recorded in two orthogonal directions. The flow structure downstream of the orifice was characterized using Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV). Capacitance sensor and displacement sensors were used for void fraction and displacement measurements. The dynamic response of piping structures was evaluated under both two-phase flow and compared to single phase flow conditions. The vibration amplitude found to increase with the increase in liquid mass flux.
