Transients analysis of synchronous and induction generators in parallel operation mode in an isolated electric system

This paper presents an analysis of transients in a system with a parallel connection of one synchronous generator and one self-excited induction generator, each coupled to a dc machine as well as a capacitor bank. A resistive load is connected to the system. Changes in the load were provoked. Then, each generators was removed, one at a time, and reconnected. The results are shown here and the respective curves are analyzed. The conclusion indicates, for this new arrangement of generators, good regulation regarding transients from load and generation. Improvement points are given for future study.
