New Operational Preparation of National Territory and the Determined Transport Network

The article presents a new concept of the Operational Preparation of National Territory with a particular focus on critical transport infrastructure and the Determined Transport Network (requirements for the Determined Transport Network and the requests NATO partners within the Host Nation Support). Additionally, this article discusses new possibilities for designing temporary roads, when the Determined Transport Network is destroyed or disrupted. New elevation data from airborne laser scanning could be used for temporary roads projection. These elevation data may serve as a base for creating digital terrain model of an area of interest.
