Aimed at the disadvantages of traditional monitoring system, an underground pipeline security early warning system based on wireless sensor network was designed. The system employed a dynamic cluster head election of the clustered network structure, taking CC2530 as the core of wireless sensor nodes. The sensor nodes stored and analyzed the data, using a new type of optical fiber temperature sensor and the acceleration sensor for pipeline environment real-time monitoring and data collection, and then make the alarm decision according to the pre-stored pipeline safety database. When the pipeline leakage occurs, the system can locate the leak point coordinate and report to the monitoring center. The results show that the system was safe, stable, and can accurately forecast the underground pipeline for safety.
