Airline recommendations using a hybrid and location based approach

In the modern times, due to the advancements in science and technology, there has been an increase in the available products a consumer can buy. This variety often leads to a confusion in the consumers mind. A new technique called as Recommender Systems was designed in order to suggest the products to a user based on his/her liking. A number of different techniques like collaborative filtering, content based filtering, etc., can be used to generate appropriate recommendations. In this project, we analyze the scope and density of these Recommendation algorithms and propose a way in which these algorithms can be hybridized to generate recommendations for the airline industry.
