In this study, we proposed new fabrication method of hollow branch vascular model by circumferential exposure to improve the uniformity of vascular model without core as shown in Fig. 1. A schematic diagram of fabrication process is shown in Fig. 2. Main constitute of vascular model is polyethylene glycol diacrylate (PEG-DA), polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), distilled water, and temperature indicator dye as shown in table 1. PEG-DA is hydrophilic cross-linkable resin. First, outer mold is fabricated by transparent and oxygen permeable material like polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). Then, material is introduced and ultraviolet (UV) light is illuminated from circumference. The material is polymerized from outside. After UV illumination, uncured resin is removed. Finally, the fabricated vascular model is extracted by detachment of outer mold. Thickness of the vascular model is controlled by UV illumination time.
