摘要

The material misalignment during the hot strips milling is responsible for an appreciable amount of steel wasting. Nowadays this misalignment is corrected by human operator which judges if the strip is misaligned using real time images. This procedure results in an elevated index of alignment errors. To contribute for reduction of those errors, the present study shows a digital image processing tool that is able to estimate the real time positioning error of a strip being laminated.
