Asian Base-Station Network (ABN) for Promotion andResearch of GNSS Technology in Asia

摘要

This paper describes about the GNSS base-stations that we have established in seven different universities in ASIA andone university in Africa. The purpose of the establishment of these stations are to promote GNSS technologies in theregion, conduct joint R&D and utilize the station data for various applications to provide high accuracy position services.We have conducted lectures, trainings and workshops to teach and promote the technology. We also perform SignalQuality Monitoring (SQM) by using TEQC software. Some of the TEQC results are discussed in this paper. Thebase-stations are connected to NTRIP caster using Global IP address to provide real time correction services for RTK orhigh accuracy positioning services.
