This paper summarizes a study conducted by The Tauri Group on investment in commercial space ventures in the 21~(st) century, Start-Up Space. The study includes investments in start-up space companies by angel investors, venture capital firms, private equity groups, corporations, banks, and others. This paper highlights findings on the level of investment activity since 2000, types of investor, and investor motivations.
