摘要

A method to convert elastic scattering sensitivity coefficients from cosine bins to sensitivity coefficients for the first Legendre polynomial is developed. The conversion is accomplished by combining MCNP6 calculated cosine bin sensitivities with data extracted from the nuclear data viewing tool JANIS. Verification of the method is performed by testing the results against direct perturbation and results from a developmental version of MCNP. The method, referred to as the MCNP6+JANIS method, agrees reasonably well with both. Subsequently P_1 sensitivity coefficients are generated for over 200 ICSBEP benchmarks, to assist in the identification of suitable benchmarks for testing changes in angular elastic scattering data.
