In this paper the qualities of UAVs control are analyzed for cases of failure (malfunction) on-board measurement system. Not available information is replaced with analytical estimates of non-measurement signals. The estimation algorithms are based on the available variables and controlled airplane properties (analytical model). The study was conducted using simulation models, laboratory stands and flight testing. The calculations based on data recorded in test flights of optionally controlled aircraft MP-02A Czajka and Piper Seneca V. Results of the analysis were used to verify and validate mathematical models of estimating unmeasurable state variables and determining the scope of analytical redundancy in the practical control of a UAV. The study will be presented analytical methods used for redundancy and compare the quality control for efficient measurement systems, and for the case of damage to the selected sensors.
