With the development of modern testing technology especially in oscilloscope field, ultra-high speed waveform capturing rate increasing very fast. By the rapid development of waveform capturing rate and increasing memory depth, system can accumulate large number of waveform in unit time. Before displaying these large numbers of waveform with high speed device need color processing and waveform transformation to ensure smooth and correct display as well as there is no lose for basic waveform criteria. Taking to this advantages of display processing in this paper 3D waveform technic is implemented. The statistic information of the sampled data is displayed on the screen by using different colors as well different brightness control and adjustment method are used based on the signal characteristics observation requirement, user can select power-law and piecewise linear variation of signal brightness, hence analyze and observe the signal brightness, signal behavior, signal anomalies very clearly. Scalable parameters will allow users to set their own required value to adjust highly precise brightness and analyze the signal characteristics clearly.
