With the increasing trend of reading Urdu e-novels, the retrieval of specific information regarding a particular novel is also important. This paper presents a new semantic search engine for Urdu novels named Novel Mania. The search engine is primarily composed of three layers namely ontology modeling, information retrieval and dynamic ontology updations. The ontology modeling is primarily responsible to represent the knowledge area via domain ontology. Then, a number of semantic queries retrieve the necessary information inside the ontology. Further, the engine has the flexibility to dynamically incorporate the modifications in domain ontology. By exploiting the engine user can extract the novel related parameters without going into the details and inefficient way. Also, the engine provides a single platform to the publisher community in order to represent their work in a coherent manner.
