Trouble in Threes - Technology and Teamwork Take On Mother Nature at Speedwell Forge

This paper includes a summary of the project, design upgrading, and construction, with a focus on three defining storms that triggered early decisions and subsequently tested the diversion and the Construction EAP. Discussion demonstrates how collaboration and communication between the construction team using real-time weather readings, smart phones and other tools provided essential foresight, teamwork, and commitment to "weather the storms", as well as support how the contract documents and technology benefitted protection of public safety.
