With the development toward high-speed, high-density cyberization, high-capacity of high-speed railway, harmonics amplification, and resonance problems of traction network caused by high-speed locomotives are getting more serious. In order to study the harmonic transmission characteristic and resonance of the traction network, the equivalent circuit model of the multi-conductor transmission line was built. And two suppression methods of harmonica current were proposed by installing a filter branch in the auxiliary winding of traction transformer. At the end of this paper, the effectiveness of the suppression methods has been verified through theoretical calculations and simulations.
