Teaching Flight Testing Through Soaring

摘要

Flight testing is a difficult process to teach conceptually. This project aimed to develop materials on the basics of testing practices for the undergraduate level. This is accomplished by conducting performance evaluations of sailplanes. This paper outlines the hardware, the test process, and the educational value it provided.
