摘要

The need for higher levels of security in transferring data has always been a matter of critical concern and sheer development. Almost every domain around the world including individuals to nations require a highly secure means for communication of data. In this paper, an image encryption scheme has been proposed based on use of 2D logistic map and AES. 2D logistic map and AES have been accepted as adequate standards for encryption and decryption of data since they exhibit high resistance towards cryptanalysis attacks. Therefore, a combination of these two established techniques could be used as a very strong mechanism for real time encryption of image.
