摘要

There are various reasons to want to control the level of the environmental electromagnetic field, and because of this various types of measurement devices are available on the market. This paper discusses the specific requirements for the technical properties of measurement devices, related to the evaluation of electric and magnetic field measurements in occupational near-field exposure with respect to the requirements of Directive 2013/35/EU. The use of sufficient quality measurement devices in the evaluation of workers exposure to electromagnetic field reduce the inter-laboratory variations in the outcome of the evaluation, as well as allow to simplify the protocol of such evaluation and to reduce the costs of evaluation performance.
