A modification of recently proposed method for the prediction of joint complementary cumulative distribution functions (CCDF) of rain attenuation in Earth-satellite site diversity systems based on Gaussian Copula is presented and evaluated. In existing version of prediction method, the joint CCDF of rain attenuation is calculated taking into account the CCDFs for particular site stations and distances between them. An improved prediction method takes into account also two other geometric characteristics of the site diversity system, namely baseline orientation angle and elevation angle. Error analysis comparison of existing and improved method, taking into consideration fifty-three double site diversity experiments shows that a new improved method gives slightly better predictions. Results are evaluated also for few existing three-site diversity experiments where again more accurate predictions are achieved in comparison with existing method.
