This paper discusses the cybersecurity of multi-tier missions comprised of multiple craft with heterogeneous movement and sensing capabilities. It discusses the requirements that drive security system design as well as the solutions required to meet these requirements. It presents a prospective system to secure a multi-tier mission against a variety of threats and evaluates this system using several use cases which are presented and discussed. The paper concludes with a discussion of the next steps in the development of this system.
