Towed multiple-parameter profiling system, which is used to measure temperature, depth, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, pH, chlorophyll and other elements of the marine environment, is an important observation equipment to provide information on the marine environment. Based on the test for CZT1-2 towed multiple-parameter profiling system carried out in August 2011 in the Bohai Sea, we have studied the effect in the application of domestic equipment. The results show that, in the fixed point comparison test of sensors, correlation coefficient of temperature, salinity and other data are better, but relative error of the nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, silicate and ammonia nitrogen are much larger. In the test, we completed the test projection for 8h test of towed profiling system, where the towed system (including sensors) and the deck unit works well, and has a good reliability and environmental adaptability. This paper also presents some suggestions for improvement on the test at sea.
