摘要

According to the finite element calculation procedure ANSYS, the research of the stability of stiffened steel tube with large diameter is carried out. The calculation results show that segment length and gravity have effect on the stability load of the segment. The length of the segment is longer; the stability bearing capacity is smaller, and more prone to instability. The greater the angle between the segment and the horizontal direction is, the greater effect of the gravity on the stability bearing capacity has. The calculation results also show that the arrangement of longitudinal-stiffeners in segments can effectively improve the stability of the segment. All the results can be used as reference section in construction.
