Concept and initial analysis of the sector-ring beam for klystron

摘要

This paper presents a new type of klystron, in which multiple sector-ring beam, coaxial beam tunnel with isolated gates, and coaxial RF circuit are adopted to facilitate an excellent all-round performance. A multiple sector-ring beam gun is designed, and the beam characters under various magnetic fields are analyzed.
