摘要

We studied the heart rate and the blood pressure responses to a stepwise physical stress with different intensity based on control system theory principles. We found that in a certain range of intensities both the heart rate and the blood pressure regulation can be represented by a simple linear feedback model. We suggest a typical response model to physical stress that is both reproducible and scalable for a given individual. The suggested approach could be useful to estimate the cardiovascular system functional status.
