Liquefaction Case History: Comparing Methods

摘要

The advancement of understanding of the influence of aging on the liquefaction potential of soils is discussed. The three methods discussed are site-specific correlations developed using advanced laboratory testing (SRS), evaluation using MEVR (Andrus et al. 2009), and application of K_(age) (Lewis et al. 2008, Andrus et al. 2009, Green et al. 2013). These methods are then applied to a case history at the SRS site.
