This paper develops an adaptive control to extract the maximum power from the photovoltaic generator. A new algorithm is developed based on the Modified Model Reference Adaptive Control (MMRAC) combined with Incremental Conductance algorithm (IC), and Lyapunov method to obtain the control law to achieve fastly the Maximum Power Point (MPP) under the variation of temperature and the irradiance. This system comprises a DC/DC boost converter, the photovoltaic panel (PV), and the adaptive Maximum Power Point Tracker algorithm (MPPT). the efficiency of the proposed MMRAC MPPT to track the MPP is compared with Incremental Conductance (IC) algorithm used with PI controller, the result of the simulations with PSIM will be presented to define the robustness of the findings laws control. The detail of the hardware prototype of boost converter and voltage control loop will be detailed. The experimental testing and results are used to improve the feasibility and validity of the proposed algorithm.
