This paper provides an overview of design strategy of shopping Apps for older adults, as well as a list theory of heuristic evaluation and cognitive walkthrough. Furthermore, this paper discusses three design objects for smartphone shopping apps, which is comprised with clear and concise information structure, user operation with high fault tolerance and the diversity of interactive forms. Moreover, it also presents the minimalist design theory should be used in the process of shopping App design for older adults, to work on the three strategies: information visualization, simple interaction design and "multi-platform" interaction.
