The energy internet paradigm provides a platform to integrate and utilize multiple energy resources through advanced hardware interfaces, communication infrastructure and operational intelligence. In this paper, a robust energy management framework is proposed for dispatching multiple renewable energy resources including solar power, wind power and biomass generation, and flexible loads. In the framework, a day-ahead price-based demand response mechanism is applied to control the flexible loads with prediction of uncertain renewable energy source outputs and biomass generation assists to reduce uncertain impacts of wind and solar power. A two-stage robust optimization model is proposed to maximize the operation economic benefits. The proposed approach is tested on a 33-bus IEEE system and results show good robustness and optimization efficiency.
