An Application of the Generalized WH Technique

摘要

The aim of this paper is to apply the Generalized Wiener Hopf technique (GWHT) to obtain the solution of the scattering by impenetrable wedges bounded by angular sectored media with different electromagnetic parameters. According to the general theory developed in earlier papers we always are able to reduce the problem to a Fredholm integral equations (FIE) of second kind amenable of very accurate numerical solutions. This reduction appears convenient even in the cases where the Generalized Wiener-Hopf equations are reducible to classical factorization problems. Furthermore an important characteristic of the GWHT is that also in very complex geometries, the FIE can be obtained by using a circuital modelling that presents several advantages. In particular each different part of the problems can be identified and modelled as a circuit component whose parameters do not depend from the other parts and are evaluated one and for all.
