Analysis the Interconnected Operation of Venezuela and Colombia-Ecuador Electric Power Systems

This paper is about the interconnected operation of the electric power system of Venezuela and Colombia, which is also interconnected with the electric power system of Ecuador: The inter-area oscillations between such systems will be analyzed using modal and transient analysis, along with the impact that a contingency in one system will have on the other one, evaluating also the performance of the current area disconnection relays located in the interconnecting line.
