摘要

Quality of Service (QoS) provision is a mandatory requirement when transmitting telemedicine traffic, because of the relevance of the information for the patient's health. Active queue management has become a widely chosen strategy to provide QoS, since it does not require interaction with network equipment. This document proposes a new access control scheme based on the occupation of the queue and the definition of 3 classes of traffic. The goal is to offer better QoS to higher priorities, by adapting the rejection probability of the incoming traffic.
