The relative position between the surface electrodes and Innervation Zone (IZ) changes in changing the muscle length, and it’sdifficult to evaluate the muscle contraction during dynamic exercise. This study proposed a new evaluation method for musclefunction while avoiding IZ automatically, and evaluated muscular fatigue during dynamic contraction using electrode array. In themethod, the characteristic waves were extracted, and IZ location was estimated using cross-correlation and amplitude ratiobetween the neighboring channels. The muscular fatigue was evaluated from muscle fiber conduction velocity (MFCV) usingchannels without IZ location. As the result, MFCV value decreased with muscular fatigue and the characteristic agree withconventional. Thus, it is possible to evaluate muscle function with changing muscle length using the system.
