Complete Electromagnetic Earth-Return Parameters on Multi-Phase Underground Cables - Part II: Calculation Examples

摘要

This paper introduces simplified quasi-TEM based formulas of the earth-return impedance and admittance on multi-phase underground cables from the complete field solutions developed in a companion paper. The earth-return impedance and admittance are calculated by existing formulas, and calculated results are compared with those by the proposed formulas. The inaccuracies of the existing formulas have been made clear.
