In cognitive Radio, Energy Detection(ED) is the easiest method to detect idle spectrum due to the simple implementation. However, it is difficult to identify the transmitter when several systems are sharing the spectrum in the same time. In order to improve the spectrum utilization, the spectrum shared by the secondary users may be detected as idle spectrum with keeping the detection performance of primary system. In this paper, we propose an identified primary sensing method by using cooperative sensing of ED and statistical information of primary. In system model, status of PU can be OFF and ON. Furthermore, SU can also share the spectrum while gives no interference to PU. In the proposed algorithm, we exploit the statistical information database, in which the average received power of primary system has been restored, and real-time observed power at surrounding sensing nodes to detect the recent test statistic. Our proposed algorithm is validated by computer simulation and results showed that in coexisting environment of primary and secondary systems, cognitive radio user can accurately detect the primary system under the existence of the secondary system.
