With the developments of the computational technology, three dimensional (3D) transport calculations with both deterministic methods and Monte Carlo methods can be applied to the full-core problems. The code to code verifications on the full-core benchmarks are essential for both deterministic and Monte Carlo methods. EDF R&D and the Department of Engineering Physics of Tsinghua University collaborate to make code to code comparisons between the Cartesian SN DOMINO solver in COCAGNE platform and Monte Carlo code RMC. This study focuses on three new 3D PWR full-core benchmarks, to compare the DOMINO and RMC solvers on configurations with anisotropic scattering and asymmetrical configurations due to the existence of control rods. The results of DOMINO and RMC agree well. It can be concluded that both DOMINO and RMC are capable of 3D PWR full-core transport solutions with heterogeneous asymmetry and the anisotropic scattering.
