Synthesis and Characterization of Alkynyl-Terminated Bonding Agent

An alkynyl-terminated bonding agent (ATBA) was designed for the use of the solid rocket propellants with energetic binder systems.In this work,the synthesis, characterization and application of ATBA was studied.The ATBA is compatibile with the energetic binder which proved by DSC, and it react with GAP under 55 °C.The ATBA is compatible with the oxidizer AND.The contact angle and work of adhesion of the ATBA and AND indicates a strong adhesion.In a word, ATBA is a potential bonding agent inADN/GAP propellants.
