摘要

A grating based hybrid plasmonic waveguide with subwavelength optical confinement and larger propagation length is proposed. The grating assisted low-loss guiding of hybrid plasmonic-photonic mode is achieved with high nonlinearity of 18.7 × 107 km-1w-1. An acceptably low propagation loss of 4 dB/mm and hence a large propagation length of 1027-μm with modal area of 0.00017/μm2 are reported.
