The existence and stability of multi-dimensional spatially dissipative solitons, commonly known as cavity solitons, is studied. Variational method is applied to obtain the evolution dynamics of (D+1)-dimensional system of cubic-quintic complex Ginzburg-Landau equation. The stability criteria is established using the Lyapunov and Hurwitz conditions. Split step Fourier method is applied to validate the results of analytical study.
